Hi everyone! It's been a long time. The past few months were busy and full. Kasha27 is creating a space for creativity and sharing. I loved every moment. Well, maybe not the 100 degree heat with the outdoor markets, but meeting new people is always a pleasure. Now, outdoor markets are over until Spring 2017. Be sure to check the NEWS page for upcoming indoor events. And, now, the Holiday season is upon us.
The Holiday season is one of my favorite times of the year. I wax nostalgic thinking about my children and our family celebrations. Then I think of my own childhood. Best memories ever! I feel like a kid again during this time. My burdens are a bit lighter and I am filled with joy. I would love to hear your favorite Holiday stories and traditions! Feel free to respond. Be sure to be good to yourself during this season. It is easy to get overwhelmed. Take the time to rejuvenate, relax, and replenish yourself. Rest, stay warm, drink lots of fluids. Remember the reason for the season. Presents and gifts are overrated. Call a loved one, drop by a friend (or vice versa)! We all need each other. Volunteer and bring joy to others.
Turkey day is less than two weeks away! I've started decorating for Christmas already. I know, I know, but those Poinsettias were calling my name! Lol! I got the silk ones this year. Tired of watching them become compost.
Be good to yourself, be good to those you love, and be kind to strangers. We all have been a stranger at one point in our lives.
